I am a small in home breeder of mini Australian Labradoodles and live in the coastal town of Beverly in Massachusetts.
My breeding journey started in 2013 after getting a labradoodle as a pet. I never had such a lovable, playful cuddle buddy before so I decided that everyone should have an Australian Labradoodle and started breeding them a year later.
Everyone deserves a healthy, happy puppy and at Juniper Hill all of our breeding dogs are tested for hills, patella, elbows, eyes, heart and a full genetic panel is done. They are also Vet checked and receive age appropriate vaccines, microchipping and de-worming before going to their forever homes.
All of the moms whelp in a private bedroom. The pups live there for four weeks before graduating to larger area that is located in our living space. This ensures that they get proper socialization by listening to different things, such as music, television, and even the occasional vacuum cleaning.
They love the extra attention from family and friends coming and going and loving them up. I am so lucky to be able to say that I absolutely love my job! There’s nothing like a pile of puppies to brighten your day. I love helping mom deliver and watching them grow day by day before leaving Juniper Hill.
I must say my favorite day is puppy meet and greets. This is when the clients get to meet their puppy for the first time. It is so much fun to see how happy a puppy makes people.
